Mid-North Private Sector Development Co. Ltd. (Mid North) is a development company, registered in September 2003 as a company limited by guarantee (not for profit) to succeed the former Private Sector Promotion Center, Lira (PSPCL). The PSPCL was started in 1998 as a private sector project with support from Government of Uganda and UNDP for private sector development in the mid-northern part of Uganda. Mid-North was registered with Registration Certificate No 60197 of 4th September 2003 and guaranteed by registered organizations drawn from (and including the District Local governments of) the mid-northern districts of Lira, Dokolo, Amolatar, Apac, Oyam, Masindi, Bulissa and Nakasongola.
